Homemade Gifts – Christmas Granola Recipe

Homemade gifts are awesome for teachers, neighbors, moms of your kid’s friends, relatives, or really anyone on your list that you want to add that personal touch. I’m going to be sharing my 12 Days of Christmas Gifts – featuring 12 easy gift ideas including: soup, pancakes, cookies, bath salts and, obviously, this Christmas Granola Recipe. I’ve been craving granola all week, and happened to have what I needed to make it! How nice is that? I bet you have a lot of this in your pantry at home, too! And, you can even get your kids involved – I barely lifted a finger and made them the chefs – and they loved it.

Speaking of your pantry, granola is really adaptable – want to throw in shredded coconut? Go for it! Only have semi-sweet chocolate chips – sounds great! Want to add some cinnamon? Hey, you’re the one cooking, sounds great. This is just what I wanted and I was feeling a bit plain. Next time, I’m definitely using pistachios (thanks for the idea earlier, Ali!) and I’ll throw in a bit of orange zest, since it’s one of my favorite flavors this time of year.
